Currently, there is no effective acute treatment for the majority of stroke patients and the dominant drug discovery paradigm is unable to solve this problem. We are not afraid to challenge the status quo, shift paradigms and look for better and new treatments to address patients’ unmet medical needs. We returned to the fundamentals of drug discovery while keeping up with new technologies. Fortunately, we have found magic weapons and embarked on to employ these weapons to solve the problem. Our powerful weapons include chemocentric approaches, phenotypic screening, and magic shotguns (selectively non-selective drugs).
